Fantastic response to Platinum Scissors

The response to the news that Platinum Scissors will be standing the 2006 season at Plaintree Farms has been fantastic.
We have been deluged with calls, emails and faxes from breeders all around Australia.
In response to breeders enquiries regarding the fertility prospects of Platinum Scissors, here are the facts based on his first two seasons at stud.
- In the 2004 breeding season, Platinum Scissors achieved a 19.5% end of season pregnancy rate.
- In the 2005 breeding season, Platinum Scissors achieved a 62.5% end of season pregnancy rate. Of these, 53% went in foal on their first cover.
Platinum Scissors will cover a restricted book of mares.
All mares must be under the veterinary care of Dr David Pascoe. This is to maximize the reproductive performance of both the stallion and the mare.
The service fee is due and payable on a positive 45 day pregnancy test. Free return (conditions apply)
